June 23, 2026, Social Distortion plays Kozel Carroponte in Sesto San Giovanni. Led by singer-guitarist Mike Ness, the Orange County band formed in the late 70s blends West Coast punk with classic rock’n’roll, rockabilly snap, country twang and a streak of blues. On stage, the guitars stay gritty and tight, melodies are direct, and the lyrics trace redemption arcs, busted roads and everyday corners of American life.

The set digs into all eras: the urgency of Mommy’s Little Monster, the road-worn tension of Prison Bound, the punch of the self-titled album, then the muscular swing of Somewhere Between Heaven and Hell and the hard edges of White Light, White Heat, White Trash. After the passing of founding guitarist Dennis Danell, the group reformed around Ness with Jonny Wickersham on guitar, pushing forward with Sex, Love and Rock ’n’ Roll and Hard Times and Nursery Rhymes, where roots rock colors sit next to saturated riffs. Live, that mix lands with economy and drive, a straight-ahead run through songs that carry equal parts bite and melody.
