Info

On March 19, 2026, Simon Grossmann performs at La Sala in Madrid. A Venezuelan-American singer-songwriter based in Florida, he moves between Miami and Caracas with a bilingual repertoire that spans Latin indie, acoustic folk and luminous pop. His songs feature light guitar work, rhythms drawn from bossa nova and reggae, and intimate lyrics that address relationships, everyday life and a certain nostalgia.

With Ciclo (2017), produced by Jose Luis Pardo, he defined a palette of gentle melodies and warm textures, heard on tracks such as Agüitaecoco and Limón y Sal. Two years later, Mujer Eléctrica (2019) honed a more electric sound without losing its melodic center, broadening the spectrum toward a more pronounced on-stage energy. In 2020, the EP Triste Pero Fresh, recorded at home, revealed a rawer side: guitar ballads and a lo-fi atmosphere that reinforce his direct songwriting.

Live, Grossmann alternates acoustic passages and electric pulses, plays with the cadence of bossa and the sway of reggae, and holds it all together with an approachable melodic sense. His urban-beach aesthetic—between Latin song, indie and a surf sensibility—suits a show that favors dynamics and the power of the lyric, without artifice. In Madrid he will present a journey through these phases, connecting his musical voyage between two shores with a set designed for the present.
