Diana Krall

Diana Krall will perform in Marbella on 21 July 2026 at the Starlite Festival - Auditorio Marbella. A Canadian pianist and singer trained at Berklee, Krall has built a career defined by her deep timbre and distinctive piano touch: restrained swing, clear phrasing and a keen sense of nuance. In concert she typically appears in a trio format, leaving room for dialogue between double bass, drums and her piano, with a repertoire that ranges across the Great American Songbook alongside incursions into bossa nova and some of her own compositions.

From her early steps inspired by the Nat King Cole trio, she has refined a language that alternates standards and orchestral ballads, documented on records such as All for You, Love Scenes, When I Look in Your Eyes and The Look of Love. The live album Live in Paris consolidated that way of telling songs; later she opened up to original material with The Girl in the Other Room, then returned to standards on Turn Up the Quiet and Quiet Nights, in addition to crossings into pop culture with Wallflower and collaborations like the one with Tony Bennett. On stage, that mixture takes shape in understated arrangements, relaxed tempos and solos that let each song breathe. In Marbella, her voice and piano will sustain an evening centered on the song, between understated swing, slow ballads and Brazilian influences.
