Info
On July 24, 2026, Eva Ayllón performs at Sala Razzmatazz in Barcelona. A leading figure of creole and Afro-Peruvian music born in Lima, she arrives with a repertoire that blends creole waltzes with the rhythms of festejo, landó and marinera. On stage, voice, storytelling and rhythmic pulse take center stage, supported by guitars and percussion from the Peruvian coast.
From her beginnings in Lima’s peñas and on variety programs on Peruvian television, Ayllón has built a career that connects tradition and popular song, with tours across Latin America, the United States and Europe. In concert she alternates intimate pieces with more rhythmic moments and makes space to reinterpret compositions by Chabuca Granda and creole songwriters from different generations, keeping the Afro-Peruvian thread as her guide.
At Razzmatazz she proposes a straightforward journey through that sonic map: waltz cadences, the rhythmic calls of the cajón, guitar dialogues and lyrics that tell stories of the coast. A set designed both to listen to and to move to, delivered by an artist who places time and rhythm in the foreground.
