Info
On August 6, 2026, the Concert Music Festival of Poblado Sancti Petri, in Chiclana de la Frontera, hosts Helloween, with Obús and Motörhits on the bill.
Helloween was born in Hamburg in the mid-1980s with Kai Hansen, Michael Weikath, Markus Grosskopf and Ingo Schwichtenberg, forging a fast, melodic metal that evolved from their debut EP and Walls of Jericho (1985) to a more melodic turn with the arrival of Michael Kiske. Keeper of the Seven Keys I and II cemented their imprint on European power metal. After internal changes and a more experimental phase, Andi Deris’s arrival in 1994 consolidated a heavy/power direction that produced albums such as The Dark Ride. Since the Pumpkins United tour the project has reunited past and present members, with the returns of Hansen and Kiske reflected on the album Helloween (2021). Live, layered guitars, brisk tempos and sing-along choruses once again lie at the center of their repertoire.
Obús began in the early 1980s in Madrid, with Fortu Sánchez on vocals and Paco Laguna on guitar, offering Spanish-language hard rock/heavy characterized by direct riffs and streetwise lyrics. Their first phase produced songs such as “Prepárate,” “Poderoso como el trueno,” “El que más” and “Pega con fuerza.” After a pause in the 1990s they resumed activity with releases like “Desde el fondo del abismo” and “Segundos fuera,” maintaining the band’s core and a live show that leans on classics and 1980s drive. They arrive here with a set designed to be shouted along to and headbanged to without pause.
