Smag På Dig Selv

Smag På Dig Selv plays Pavillonen in Grenaa, Denmark on October 31, 2026. Since 2018, the Danish trio has shaped a sound built on two saxophones and drums, where acoustic techno meets punk drive and echoes of 90s dance. On stage, they blur the line between rock concert, live electronics and club performance: repetitive structures tighten, rhythms climb, and a chanted vocal presence steers the flow. The lyrics lean poetic and openly political, adding a clear angle to the music while keeping the focus on movement and pulse.

Formed on the live circuit, SPDS favors long-form formats designed for performance, with pieces that stretch, rise and lock into patterns. That approach earned them a Danish Music Award as New Live Act of the Year in 2024, anchoring the project in today’s Danish scene. At Pavillonen, the trio’s horns-and-drums engine meets the room: interlocking riffs, growing pressure and words that cut through the mix, in a show that sits somewhere between a rock gig, a live electronic set and a late-night dancefloor.
