On 13 May 2026, TRAIN in Aarhus hosts Siamese and CABAL for The Elements of Rot, a double bill that brings together two distinct visions of Danish heavy music.
Siamese, formed in Copenhagen in 2011, navigates the line between alternative rock and modern metal with a taste for big melodies, electronic textures and pop-leaning production. After early releases under the name Siamese Fighting Fish, the band tightened its sound with records like Siamese, Shameless and Super Human, then pushed collaborations and sleek hooks on Home and Elements. Live, the pairing of Mirza Radonjica’s clear, expressive vocals with Andreas Krüger’s guitar work drives songs that swing from tense riffs to spacious choruses, with synth layers and rhythmic breaks built for collective release.
CABAL, also from Copenhagen, comes in with a blackened deathcore approach focused on atmosphere, dissonance and weight. Since Mark of Rot (2018), the group has refined a language of downtuned guitars, guttural vocals and slow-to-mid-tempo structures, deepened on Drag Me Down and Magno Interitus with more measured, ritual-like passages. On stage, CABAL leans into dense sound design and tightly controlled repetition, shaping a set that favors tension over speed and lets the darkness breathe.
