The Blue Van

Formed in Brønderslev in northern Denmark, The Blue Van shape a rock sound fed by blues grit, 60s garage impulses and a direct pop streak. Led by singer‑guitarist Steffen Westmark, the quartet first broke through in the early 2000s, taking their guitar bite and prominent organ from local stages to tours across Europe and the US. Across The Art of Rolling (2005), Dear Independence (2006), Man Up (2008), Love Shot (2010), Would You Change Your Life? (2012) and the more autonomous Letters (2014), the band refines sharp riffs, driving keys and choruses that land quickly. Tracks like There Goes My Love also travelled widely through film, TV and ad placements, cementing their profile beyond Denmark while staying tied to their scene at home.
