Info
Camilla Sparksss is the solo alias of Swiss-Canadian musician and visual artist Barbara Lehnhoff. At Kantine am Berghain in Berlin on 2 June 2026, she brings a live show built on heavy drums, dense synths and vocals that cut straight through. Co-founder of post-punk outfit Peter Kernel, Lehnhoff pushes an electro noise pop that leans into dark-wave edges and experimental electronics, always with a raw pop pulse.
Her path runs from the debut For You The Wild (2014) to Brutal (2019) and its remix companion with contributions from Fakear and Rebeka Warrior. Tours across Europe followed, including dates alongside The Jon Spencer Blues Explosion and later A Place to Bury Strangers. She also moves between music, film and theatre, collaborating with Alec Ounsworth, Mike Mare and director Nicolas Stemann. In 2023 she released the audiovisual album Lullabies, then a remix project by William Basinski and Gary Thomas Wright. The self-directed Watch Me earned Best Swiss Music Video in 2025 at the Solothurn Film Festival.
Live, with more than 1000 shows behind her, Sparksss channels that experience into a set that feels immediate and physical. The new album ICU RUN (2025, On The Camper Records) frames the mood: a renegade soundtrack about escape and refuge, built to move both body and mind.
