The Jacksons

On 24 May 2026 The Jacksons will perform at De Doelen in Rotterdam. The brothers from Gary, Indiana began in the late 1960s as The Jackson 5 at Motown, with close harmonies, direct hooks and distinctive bass lines. As The Jacksons they took creative control in the late 1970s and shifted from soul to disco, funk and pop, with their own compositions and productions.

Live, the songbook comes to life: from "I Want You Back", "ABC" and "I'll Be There" to "Can You Feel It", "Blame It on the Boogie" and "Shake Your Body (Down to the Ground)". The set relies on vocal harmonies, call-and-response and rhythms that get the audience moving, while also leaving room for the slower numbers.

Between the Philadelphia sound of their early Epic years and the later pop-funk of Destiny and Triumph, the concert traces the evolution of the family band. With a band, multi-part choruses and their signature grooves, The Jacksons present an overview of a repertoire that stretches from the Motown classics to the 1980s.
