On 26 March 2027, Tash Sultana plays the Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam as part of the Return To The Roots EU/UK Tour 2027. The Melbourne multi‑instrumentalist constructs songs live like a one‑person band: real‑time loops, layered guitars, percussion, keys and a voice that effortlessly shifts from whisper to wail. It began on the street and through self‑released recordings; the breakthrough came with "Jungle" from the Notion EP (2016). Since then the sound has moved between psych rock, indie, soul, reggae and folk, allowing room for improvisation and extended arcs of tension. On stage the focus is the transition from intimate motifs to full‑blown eruptions, with no fixed template: themes are stretched, rhythms shift and melodies stack layer upon layer. Flow State (2018) captured that live energy in the studio; Terra Firma (2021) leaned toward R&B and jazz colors, which return in its harmonies and grooves. Not a traditional band lineup, but a solo set in which each song is created on the spot, from the first loop to the final decaying note.
