On 21 April 2026, Big Thief will play as part of their Somersault Slide 360 Tour 2026 at AFAS Live in Amsterdam. Since 2015 the quartet led by singer and guitarist Adrianne Lenker has carved out its own corner between indie rock and folk. Buck Meek’s guitar lines hook tightly into Lenker’s melodies, Max Oleartchik’s bass keeps things warm and fluid, and James Krivchenia propels everything forward with precise drumming. Live, the band shifts effortlessly from intimate folk to rougher, electric passages. Songs from Masterpiece and Capacity through U.F.O.F., Two Hands and the double album Dragon New Warm Mountain I Believe in You come together in a set that runs through their catalogue. Lenker’s voice and lyrics remain central, with space for silence, frayed edges and sudden friction that define the dynamics of their concerts.
Dylan Meek will also be on the bill for this date at AFAS Live, alongside Big Thief — an additional artist who completes the evening without taking focus away from the headlining performance.
