Floor Jansen is coming to Groningen as a solo artist. The Dutch singer, shaped by classical vocal technique and rock, took her first steps in the late 1990s with After Forever, where symphonic and progressive influences merged. She later fronted ReVamp and Northward, the hard rock duo with guitarist Jørn Viggo Lofstad. Since 2012 she has been the voice of Nightwish and contributed to several of the band’s albums, which clearly showcased her range from lyrical and pop to metal. At the same time she developed a solo career that has shifted toward orchestral pop-rock; her debut Paragon was released in 2023. On 30 October 2026 she will appear at SPOT/De Oosterpoort in Groningen with a show that brings this trajectory together: melodies, dynamics and the song at the centre, with her voice as the compass.
