Choir! Choir! Choir!

Choir! Choir! Choir! will perform on May 28, 2026, at TivoliVredenburg in Utrecht. The Canadian project of Daveed Goldman and Nobu Adilman from Toronto upends the traditional concert format: the audience becomes the choir. With humor and clear direction, the duo teaches the harmonies on the spot, after which everyone sings pop, rock and folk songs together. The repertoire ranges from Leonard Cohen to Prince, in compact, multi‑part arrangements they have been testing and refining in bars and on stages across North America and Europe since the early 2010s.

Not a conventional band on stage, but an evening where the audience makes the sound and group singing is central. Choir! Choir! Choir! mostly documents its performances via live videos and standalone digital releases, and places less emphasis on conventional studio albums. The core remains the same: familiar melodies, clear guidance and the joy of singing together. In Utrecht it’s about taking part, sounding in harmony and briefly becoming one large choir.
