On 6 March 2026, French Police will perform at Patronaat in Haarlem. The Chicago trio, consisting of brothers Brian and Jesse Flores and bassist Jose Vega, delivers post-punk and coldwave driven by prominent basslines, bright repetitive guitars, spare rhythms and cool, detached vocals. Their sound nods to the new wave of the 1980s while remaining firmly rooted in the here and now. After beginning in the DIY circuit, they released a self-titled debut in 2019 and Haunted Castle in 2021. Alternating between English- and Spanish-language songs, French Police crafts compact tracks that blend melancholy and momentum, with a distinctly nocturnal, urban atmosphere.
Sad Madona from France shares the bill and will also be on stage at Patronaat that evening.
