Info
On 4 May 2026, LØLØ will perform at Melkweg in Amsterdam. The Toronto-born singer-songwriter, now dividing her time between Toronto and Los Angeles, moves effortlessly between alternative pop, pop rock and pop punk with a grunge edge. After getting her start at open mics and releasing the single “Yours” in 2018, she put out the DIY EP Sweater Collection in 2019. In 2020 her audience grew thanks to alternative point-of-view covers; she later signed deals with APG and Hopeless Records and released the EPs Overkill (2021) and Debbie Downer (2022).
Her songwriting, often drawn from diary entries, pairs catchy melodies with 2000s-style guitars and lyrics about relationships, vulnerability and a touch of self-deprecating humor. She has collaborated, among others, with Maggie Lindemann on “debbie downer” and with Girlfriends on “5, 6, 7, 8.”
Live, LØLØ sharpens that mix: tight hooks, ragged guitars and direct songwriting that stays close to the emotion. In Amsterdam she will perform material from her 2024 debut album Falling for Robots and Wishing I Was One, alongside earlier tracks from her EP period and collaborations. The set balances pop energy with raw edges, carried by a voice and stories that resonate immediately.
