BRUIT ≤ plays Berlin on May 8, 2026 at Neue Zukunft, bringing a patient, instrumental post‑rock set built on contrast and detail. Formed in 2016 by musicians stepping away from major‑label pop circuits, the French quartet has centred its practice on writing without commercial pressure, shaping a sound where noise, melody and texture carry equal weight. After two EPs, a debut album and a tour as M83’s backing band, they now take The Age of Ephemerality on the road, a record released in 2025 on Pelagic Records.
The album opens new paths while staying close to the group’s roots: long forms, quiet stretches that give way to dense swells, and arrangements that reveal themselves over time. On stage, BRUIT ≤ weaves these pieces into a set that moves from fragile motifs to heavier currents with measured tension, revisiting earlier material alongside the new tracks. True to the band’s convictions, The Age of Ephemerality is not available on major streaming platforms, a stance that echoes their independent approach to making and sharing music.
