Zen Circus

The Zen Circus arrive in Berlin with the European tour celebrating the ten-year anniversary of La Terza Guerra Mondiale. On April 20, 2026, at the Frannz Club, the trio from Pisa will perform the 2016 album in its entirety for the first time, accompanied by songs that were on their setlists at that time. Between alternative rock and a folk-punk streak, Andrea Appino, Massimiliano “Ufo” Schiavelli and Karim Qqru bring back to the stage the urgency and narrative edge that made them known.

From their beginnings in English to the switch to Italian, The Zen Circus have released thirteen records, an anti‑biographical novel and played thousands of concerts, up to the Sanremo stage in 2019. Along the way they have collaborated with members of Violent Femmes, Pixies and Talking Heads, broadening their scope without losing their direct songwriting. In clubs and festivals they have honed an essential sound made of rhythm, guitars and harmonies. In Berlin they reopen the La Terza Guerra Mondiale chapter with a set that looks back at that period of the band and recaptures its themes and atmospheres, between bitter irony and provincial stories.
