MARO

MARO, the Portuguese multi-instrumentalist, songwriter and producer from Lisbon, brings her new chapter to the Stadthalle Köln on 2 March 2026. After graduating from the Berklee College of Music, she launched her career in 2018 with several albums and an EP; since then her songwriting has moved between pop, folk and soul, carried by vocal harmonies and a clear melodic sense—sometimes intimate, sometimes band-oriented.

In recent years MARO has performed worldwide, first with an acoustic trio, then as an electronic duo, and as part of Jacob Collier’s band on his Djesse tour. She has opened for Jessie J, Gipsy Kings, Charlotte Cardin and The Paper Kites, shared major festival stages with Odesza and Parcels, and accompanied Shawn Mendes on arena shows.

With the announced album SO MUCH HAS CHANGED she broadens her sound in a brighter, more direct direction and will present a full-band set for the first time in 2026. In Cologne she blends new songs with pieces from her existing repertoire, in Portuguese and English—focused on voices, finely interlocked arrangements and that mix of Lusophone influences and contemporary pop aesthetics.
