On May 1, 2026 Stephen Sanchez brings his Love Again Tour to the Docks in Hamburg. The Sacramento-born, Nashville-rooted singer-songwriter delivers romantic ballads live with a distinct retro touch: 1950s rock’n’roll meets the orchestral pop hues of the 1960s. His songs revolve around voice and melody, often presented in warm, vintage-tinged arrangements. After early tracks like “Lady by the Sea” and two EPs, he established with “Angel Face” a narrative foundation centered on a crooner figure — material he transforms on stage into a compact pop set, sometimes shimmering with soul, sometimes intimately close to the song. Expect intimate moments, multi-part vocal passages, and a focus on love stories that define Sanchez’s songwriting.
As special guest, Tors — a trio from Devon, England, around brothers Matt and Theo Weedon and Jack Bowden — will open. Their sound blends indie-folk and pop with clear guitars and tightly arranged harmonies. The songs deal with relationships, family and everyday life, often carried by collective vocals that at times function almost a cappella. Live, Tors keep their arrangements lean and direct, with choral parts that support the melodies and fill the space — an organic opener that brings the voice to the forefront as the central instrument and sets the right mood for the evening.
