Grandma's Ashes

Grandma’s Ashes will play Club Stereo in Nuremberg on April 8, 2026. The Parisian trio digs into the darker sides of everyday life, channeling anger, doubt and melancholy into a collective outburst: massive riffs meet a clear, bright voice, and the tension holds the room together. Stylistically they are rooted in progressive rock and stoner, as on the EP The Fates and the album This Too Shall Pass, with which they toured across France and Europe — from Hellfest to the Francofolies, from La Maroquinerie to Le Trabendo.

With BRUXISM, their second album on Verycords, the band expands its range toward New Wave and grunge without losing focus on dynamics and detail. Visually, the trio also makes a statement: mythology and symbolism frame lyrics that remain poetic and direct, carried by questions that preoccupy an entire generation — feminist, ecological, and searching for meaning. Live, Grandma’s Ashes condense this world into an intense set that seeks closeness and makes no detours.
