Rea Garvey’s Christmas Calling

Under the title Christmas Calling, Rea Garvey will come to the Culture and Congress Center Jahrhunderthalle GmbH in Frankfurt am Main on 18 December 2026. The Irish-born singer, songwriter and guitarist has based his musical career in Germany since the late 1990s and writes songs that are conceived largely with live performance in mind. With Reamonn he helped shape melodic pop rock; since 2011 he has continued to develop his signature as a solo artist—between catchy hooks, guitar ballads and subtle electronic hues, audible on albums such as Can’t Stand the Silence, Pride, Neon and Hy Brasil. Collaborations with Paul van Dyk, ATB and Apocalyptica have broadened his sonic palette and demonstrate his openness to crossing the boundaries between conventional song form and electronic textures.

On stage Garvey brings that exact mix together: clear melodies, driving grooves and space for quieter passages. Christmas Calling frames this repertoire seasonally without losing sight of the core of his music. Many know him as a coach on The Voice of Germany; here the artist himself is at the centre—with a band, strong presence and a set that makes his pop‑rock universe come alive in concert.
