Eyszeit - Peter Maffay Tribute-Band

On 9 May 2026 Eyszeit will bring the work of Peter Maffay to Roxy Concerts in Flensburg. The tribute band focuses on the sound and attitude that have defined Maffay’s songs since the 1970s: German-language rock that blends ballads with folk and country shades, anchored by distinctive guitars. The set pairs early tracks with the more driving numbers of the Peter Maffay Band, and includes the narrative Tabaluga universe. This creates an arc from his Schlager beginnings to the electric phase—leaving room for melody, lyrics and musical flow.

Eyszeit places audible emphasis on vocal delivery and phrasing, on choruses, organ and guitar tones, so that the familiar atmospheres hold—sometimes calm and intimate, sometimes propulsive and edgier. The evening is aimed as much at longtime fans who have been singing the choruses for years as at newcomers who want to experience Maffay’s catalogue live and without detours. A focused tribute that brings the energy and storytelling of these songs directly to the stage.
