DEADLETTER - Tour 2026

DEADLETTER bring their 2026 tour to Strom in Munich on 18 March 2026. The London collective emerged from a close circle of friends and places writing and language at its center. On stage they regard performance as a narrative space: songs are constructed like sequences, with chanted phrases, ruptures and recurring motifs. Timing and punchlines are on point, yet nothing is fixed – the set remains flexible, opened up live, reshuffled and condensed with interjections. Text, rhythm and movement interlock without hierarchy; the performance works like an editorial room in real time.

Coming from a clear DIY stance, the band seeks proximity rather than distance. Short distances, direct address, unadorned setups — formats that encourage interaction and let the text breathe. DEADLETTER have maintained this working method from the earliest independent circles through to European programs and keep production deliberately lean so the evening is shaped at the venue rather than simply played out. In Munich they will demonstrate exactly that: focused storytelling, precisely placed repetitions and a stage flow that allows friction and brings the audience close to the process.
