Tame Impala

On April 29, 2026, Tame Impala will perform at the Uber Arena in Berlin. The name stands for the psychedelic rock project of Australian Kevin Parker, supported live by long-time collaborators such as Dom Simper and Jay Watson. Since the first EPs in 2008, the sound has evolved from fuzzy garage rock to detailed, synth-soaked arrangements in which guitar riffs, vocoder tones and driving grooves come together. Albums like Innerspeaker and Lonerism define the early phase; later releases expand the field toward pop and electronica.

Live, the band relies on seamless transitions, extended jams and compact melodies that unfold layer by layer. Analog textures, abundant reverb and a precise lighting and visual concept sustain the long arcs of tension in the songs. Parker layers vocals, varies tempos; bass and drums provide the pulse; the group leaves room for improvisation without losing structural cohesion.
