Tash Sultana

On 21 March 2026, Tash Sultana brings the solo project to the Barclaycard Arena in Hamburg. Having grown up in Melbourne, Tash has fine-tuned the setup of a one-person band: songs are created live from guitar loops, textured soundscapes, beats and a voice that oscillates between delicate lines and powerful eruptions. The sound crosses psychedelic rock, indie and soul, takes on flavours of reggae and folk, and leaves room for improvisation—tension arcs that build layer by layer and then break apart. Tash came to prominence in the mid-2010s with “Jungle,” featured on the EP Notion (2016). The debut album Flow State (2018) captured the live energy in the studio, while Terra Firma (2021) moved the arrangements toward R&B and jazz.

On stage this becomes a set that remains in constant motion: loops are assembled and dismantled, guitar textures thicken, melodies stretch and change shape. Between intimacy and intensity, Tash navigates their repertoire solo and makes space for spontaneous detours. The Hamburg concert spans the arc from early DIY beginnings to major festival experiences—focused on the essentials: songwriting, timing and a voice that carries the dynamics.
