Balu Brigada - Portal Tour

On 23 April 2026 at the Mojo Club in Hamburg: Balu Brigada bring their Portal Tour to the stage. The brother duo Henry and Pierre Beasley from Auckland formed Balu Brigada in 2016 and have been operating between indie rock and alt-pop ever since. After the EPs I Should Be Home (2022) and Find a Way (2023), the debut album Portal was released in 2025 — the focal point of the current set.

Live, Balu Brigada link precise songwriting, clear hooks and shimmering synths with angular guitars. Songs like Designer, Backseat, Politix and Sideways meet fresh tracks from Portal; the set oscillates between driving grooves and more subdued passages without losing its momentum. At the center is the finely tuned chemistry of the two brothers, whose voices and parts interlock closely.

With tour stops in North America and Europe, the duo have honed their sound for the club. In Hamburg, Balu Brigada show how studio ideas breathe in a live format: compact, direct and on point — a concentrated snapshot of Portal and the stages that led up to it.
