Info
On 11 November 2026 at the Uber Arena in Berlin, Interpol and Bloc Party will share the bill. Interpol emerged in the late 1990s in New York around Paul Banks, Daniel Kessler and Sam Fogarino. Their sound links angular guitars, pulsing basslines and a cool, urban atmosphere with roots in post-punk. Songs like “PDA,” “Obstacle 1” and “NYC” from the debut Turn On the Bright Lights exemplify this. They were followed by Antics, Our Love to Admire, El Pintor and The Other Side of Make-Believe—albums that refined the approach without changing their signature. Live, the trio relies on taut rhythms and focused presence.
Bloc Party formed in 2003 around singer and guitarist Kele Okereke, with Russell Lissack, Gordon Moakes and Matt Tong. Early on they drew attention with the EPs Bloc Party and Little Thoughts and toured as a support act for Franz Ferdinand. Silent Alarm arrived in 2005, A Weekend in the City in 2007; after a break the band returned in 2012 with Four. Their trademarks are interlocking guitars, driving drums and hooks that sit between pop appeal and post-punk energy. On stage, tight riffs, precise groove and direct audience engagement come together.
