Info

Lauren Spencer Smith brings The Art of Being a Mess Tour to History in Toronto on February 26, 2026. The British-Canadian singer-songwriter has shaped a voice-forward pop that moves between piano ballads and soft R&B shades. From early home-recorded covers to a Top 20 run on American Idol, she shifted toward original songs with direct, diaristic writing about relationships and growing up. Fingers Crossed, Flowers and Narcissist, gathered on her 2023 album Mirror, set the tone for a show built on clear melodies and intimate lyrics.

Joining the bill, Sadie Jean carries her understated pop from the Clive Davis Institute to the stage. Known for WYD Now? and Locksmith, she writes on piano and guitar with minimal production and a storytelling approach rooted in bedroom pop, charting breakups, friendships and the small fractures of early adulthood.

For this tour, $1 per ticket goes via PLUS1 to the Lauren Spencer Smith Fund, supporting organizations that provide care for young people facing housing insecurity, hunger and addiction. This is an all-ages event.
