Boy & Bear bring their Tripping Over Time tour to Vancouver. Formed in Sydney in 2009, the five-piece led by singer and guitarist Dave Hosking blends indie folk, alternative rock and melodic pop. From Mexican Mavis and the EP With Emperor Antarctica to the albums Moonfire and Harlequin Dream, the band has shaped tight vocal harmonies, interlaced acoustic and electric guitars, and a supple rhythm section. Limit of Love, co-produced with Ethan Johns, leaned into a live, direct approach; Suck on Light explored more nuanced textures; the self-titled 2023 album sharpened the balance between keys, guitars and voices. After tours across Australia, the UK and North America, they land in Vancouver on February 23, 2026 at Commodore Ballroom, 868 Granville Street, Vancouver, Canada, for a set that traces their path from early folk roots to their latest songs.
