Ryan Davis & the Roadhouse Band

Sous le nom de scène Ryan Davis & the Roadhouse Band, le musicien américain Ryan Davis porte un projet d’Americana originaire de Louisville, Kentucky, désormais installé à Jeffersonville, Indiana. Après plusieurs années passées au sein du groupe State Champion, dont la dernière sortie remonte à 2018, Ryan Davis choisit de réorienter son activité vers un travail plus personnel en composant seul et en approfondissant sa pratique de plusieurs instruments. Cette transition aboutit à un premier album studio, Dancing on the Edge, paru en 2023 sous l’appellation Ryan Davis & the Roadhouse Band, où se mêlent folk, rock indépendant et héritage country dans une écriture à la fois narrative et intime. Parallèlement à ses projets artistiques, Ryan Davis fonde le label Sophomore Lounge et cofonde le festival Cropped Out, inscrivant ainsi Ryan Davis & the Roadhouse Band dans un réseau indépendant américain attentif aux scènes alternatives. En 2025, Ryan Davis & the Roadhouse Band poursuit cette trajectoire avec un second album, New Threats from the Soul, qui prolonge cette approche de l’Americana en studio comme sur scène.
