Info
Madra Salach bring their Dublin-bred folk into Cork for a live set at Cyprus Avenue on December 19, 2026. Built as a band first and foremost, the sextet mixes the pull of Irish trad with a more current way of writing and arranging: story-led ballads, familiar tunes that you can latch onto fast, and a full-band energy that keeps things moving.
Formed in 2023 and shaped in pubs and small rooms in north Dublin, Madra Salach have been steadily stretching the format without stripping it of its roots, letting traditional instruments and melodies sit next to a more modern band feel. If you’ve heard the 2025 singles “Blue & Gold” or “I Was Just A Boy”, or their 2026 EP It’s a Hell of an Age, this Cork date is the place to catch those songs the way they were meant to land: direct, collective, and made for the stage.
