Info
On February 15, 2027, Quadeca lands at Melkweg in Amsterdam with his Life 1 Tour. The LA artist (Benjamin Barajas Lasky) began his career as a YouTube figure and internet rapper, but has since grown into a songwriter and producer who effortlessly makes hip-hop collide with alternative pop, indie rock, and electronics.
Live, you can expect a set that beautifully exposes his evolution: from the more direct rap energy of his early mixtape years and the personal, melodic Voice Memos to the layered, atmospheric approach of From Me to You. In recent years he has pushed his songs further open, with textures, abrupt twists, and a nearly cinematic arc of tension, as heard on I Didn’t Mean to Haunt You, the Scrapyard series, and Vanisher, Horizon Scraper. An evening for those who love hip-hop that doesn’t stay neatly within the lines.
