Info
On May 12, 2027, Craig David lands at AFAS Live in Amsterdam with his Born To Do It 25th Anniversary Tour. Twenty-five years after that debut, which catapulted him from the UK garage scene to the world stage, he again shines a spotlight on the songs that defined his sound: smoothly sung R&B with that distinctive garage swing, melodies about relationships and nightlife, and lyrics that always tell a story.
In concert, Craig shows how that early DNA runs through everything that followed: from club-focused productions and R&B ballads to his later, more pop- and soul-oriented phases. Expect a set that switches smoothly between sing-alongs and floor-filling energy, with the charisma of a performer who feels at home on radio as much as on festival stages.
Anyone who has seen him on large stages in recent years knows that he keeps his catalog fresh while remaining true to that recognizable British urban sound. In Amsterdam, it’s all about the music that made him, and about the artist who has continued to evolve alongside it all.
