On March 26, 2027, Ash Grunwald sets up his amps in Paris, at the Supersonic, for a European return that smells of road dust and blues played body and soul. Solo on stage, with his stack of guitars, he builds a dense, highly rhythmic sound, straddling electric boogie, roots folk, and rock-inflected textures, carried by a direct attack and a groove that never lets go.
Bluesman and storyteller, Grunwald alternates hammering riffs, more inhabited passages, and tension-building crescendos in a one-man-band fashion, with that direct way of telling stories without frills. Used to club stages as well as festivals, he arrives with a repertoire forged since the 2000s and albums that have broadened his palette toward more modern textures. A show for those who love raw, visceral roots, and songs that make you tap your feet without warning.
