This evening will appeal to fans of Deftones, Thrice, and Soundgarden.
Embers (10:30 PM)
Alternative rock – Paris, France
Embers is a new rock/metal band led by the duo Julien T. and Tibo F. (The Great Divide, Ovtrenoir, Saar, Throane, etc.).
After a self-titled debut EP released in 2023, as well as a video clip directed by Dehn Sora, the band has just recorded at Francis Caste's (Studio Sainte Marthe) its first nine-track album blending emotion and power, halfway between Deftones and Thrice.
The three influences:
- Deftones
- Thrice
- Soundgarden
Sungrave (9:30 PM)
Alt-metal – Lille, France
Originating from Lille, Sungrave delivers uncompromising alternative rock.
The quartet blends the energy of grunge and the power of alt-metal with a deeply rooted emotion inherited from post-hardcore.
Maudits (8:30 PM)
Doom – Paris, France
Composed of active members from the groups Throane and Ovtrenoir, as well as former members of The Last Embrace, Maudits is an instrumental project.
Influenced by doom, post-rock, progressive, and ambient, their self-titled debut album is meant to be the soundtrack of a cursed year for its creators.
Driven by a cathartic need for release, they create mental images to plunge into a balance between light and void.
