Info
Imeho sets up an intimate encounter with Erykah Badu, live at Blue Note London on October 10, 2026. Coming out of Dallas and shaping neo-soul since the ’90s, she’s built her sound at the crossroads of R&B, funk, hip-hop and jazz, with that loose, elastic phrasing that turns a song into a conversation. Expect a set that can glide from the warm glow of Baduizm to the deeper, groove-led territory of Mama’s Gun and Worldwide Underground, then into the sharper, more layered moods of the New Amerykah era. Beyond the catalogue, it’s her way of steering a band, stretching melodies and dropping sudden rhythmic pivots that makes the night feel close-up, almost improvised. In a room made for nuance, Badu’s blend of soul tradition and modern edge should land with maximum detail and minimal distance.
