Liars is the musical project of Australian composer, producer and performer Angus Andrew. Since 1999, Liars has established itself as a singular and continually evolving voice in contemporary music, with each new release establishing a sonic and conceptual language that is uniquely its own.
Over more than two decades, Angus Andrew has made Liars a means of exploring composition, field recording, improvisation and experimental studio practices, thereby creating a body of work that continually reinvents the possibilities of song, structure and sound.
Presented live at La Boule Noire by Angus Andrew with an ensemble of collaborators, Liars combines an immersive sonic experience, a physical performance, and a commitment to musical reinvention, giving rise to performances that are unpredictable and emotionally direct.
