Info
Chris de Burgh returns to Amsterdam on 2 May 2027 for 'It's never too late,' live at Amsterdam's Royal Theater Carré. The British-Irish singer-songwriter has been crafting pop rock and soft rock since the 1970s, focusing on melody and storytelling, with that distinctive mix of romantic ballads and narrative songs that is so characteristic of him. Expect a set that traverses his long career: from the major classics such as 'The Lady in Red' and 'High on Emotion' to the cinematic works of 'A Spaceman Came Travelling' and 'Don't Pay the Ferryman.' On stage, De Burgh remains primarily a storyteller: clearly sung, tightly played, and with room for that warm, personal connection with the audience. Whether he goes big or keeps it intimate, the core remains the same: songs that carry you along, with a voice that still knows exactly where the emotion lies.
