On April 13, 2027, at L'Élysée Montmartre, Emma Ruth Rundle will present a new phase of her journey, somewhere between dark folk, ambient, post-rock and experimental rock. After Engine of Hell, she has chosen to write in wide angle with These Killing Times, an album conceived as a response to withdrawal and isolation: to acknowledge the pain, but seek connection, community, and resilience. On stage, one finds what has made her strength since her solo albums and her more electric projects: a voice that is at once fragile and upfront, guitars that range from bare arpeggios to saturated crescendos, and this constant tension between tenderness and defiance. Alongside her, Cinder Well completes the bill, in a night that promises to navigate between intimate intensity and collective momentum, with songs made to stand tall when everything wobbles.
