Info
On February 9, 2027 at Hasard Ludique, Joshua Radin comes to Paris with his raw, intimate acoustic folk, the sound that first brought him to prominence in the mid-2000s when 'Winter' accompanied the TV series Scrubs. On stage, he moves between stripped-down guitar-and-voice performances and more arranged folk-pop, always in service of a melodic writing that is simple, gentle and a little melancholic. With a well-stocked discography, from We Were Here to ONE DAY and HOME, he draws from his most memorable tracks and from those songs we’ve often already heard in cinema and on television, without necessarily knowing who wrote them.
Opening act Burr Island brings a British touch between the West Country and London: a baroque-tinged folk-pop, driven by tight harmonies and organic arrangements that look as much toward the late sixties as toward contemporary indie. Their album Days Dreamt (2024) sketches this pastoral, hushed landscape, ideal to kick off the evening.
