On December 7, 2026, This Will Destroy You will land at Barcelona's Sala Upload to unleash that instrumental post-rock they've been honing in Texas for more than two decades. Their music moves between ambient, drone, and doomgaze, with expansive guitars, dense textures, and those crescendos that tighten around you little by little until you release it all. In their repertoire, very different phases coexist: the open tension of Young Mountain, the now-classic songwriting of the album This Will Destroy You, the darker and heavier side of Tunnel Blanket, and the more melodic, stratified nuances of Another Language, as well as pieces conceived almost as scenes.
Earlier, Cahill//Costello will provide the contrast from Glasgow: a duo that works organic electronics built from processed guitar, percussion, effects, and analog tape loops. Their approach is more minimalist and experimental, built from improvisation and mutual listening, in a line they've been shaping between Offworld (2021) and Cahill//Costello II (2024). Two ways of understanding atmosphere and dynamics, sharing the stage and a search.
