On October 10, 2026, at New Morning in Paris, Fela Day puts Fela Kuti’s Afrobeat back at the center of the dancefloor. The tracks from Black President, the architect of a long, collective groove where funk, jazz, highlife and Yoruba chants intersect, are reinterpreted by a lineup that blends a new European generation with veteran musicians. An evening conceived as a living tribute, faithful to the group spirit, with brass in full blast, guitars looping, and call-and-response choruses, building to a rising trance. On stage: Kiala Nzavotunga, Nazaire Bello and Nebil Mannai on vocals, Mario Orsinet on drums, Kyekyeku, Franck Biyong and Frankie Ntoh Song on guitars and keyboards, Pierre-Marie Humeau on trumpet, Yannick Cognet and Julien Duchet on saxophones, Patrick Gorce on percussion, Myriam Betty on vocals, and DJ Ness Afro to extend the movement.
