Born in Paris at the end of the 1980s in the wake of punk, Les Négresses Vertes quickly found their playing field: an instinctive fusion of acoustic rock, brass-band music, realist chanson, and Mediterranean influences. From Mlah to titles that have become classics such as Zobi la mouche or Voilà l’été, the collective has forged an energy that is raw, a populist poetry, and choruses that still circulate from mouth to mouth.
Reinvigorated since 2018, the group has played more than 350 concerts, with a live sensibility that turns every track into an open stage, between brass, taut guitars and voices that tell the story of the streets. On September 26, 2026, at La Merise in Trappes, Les Négresses Vertes return with the Zobi Tour 2026 to celebrate more than 35 years of a free trajectory, always driven by a love of blending and the pleasure of playing together.
