Danakil returns to the stage with this blend of warm roots, solid groove, and French-language lyrics that speak as much of collective momentum as of a clear-eyed view of the world. After more than twenty-five years on the road and hundreds of shows, the band keeps this very direct way of circulating energy, propelled by a firmly anchored rhythm section and arrangements that let the brass breathe as well as the choruses.
At the heart of the set are the tracks from Demain peut-être, released in September 2024, alongside the songs that have helped shape their history. On stage, Danakil plays the card of sharing and complicity, with redesigned staging that accompanies the live performance without diverting it from the essential: a living Francophone reggae, engaged when needed, unifying without forcing.
