Jahneration

Jahneration takes over Le Tetris in Le Havre on 13 March 2027. Founded by Théo and Ogach, the Parisian duo traded the punk rock of their early days for a modern reggae sound nourished by hip‑hop and touches of dancehall. They write and sing in English tinged with Jamaican patois, a color they refined through travels in Jamaica and a stint at Tuff Gong Studios in 2017. They are responsible for landmark tracks on the francophone reggae scene, such as “Me Nah Fed Up” with Naâman, and have collaborated with Alborosie, Queen Omega, Manu Chao, Dub Inc and Danakil.

On stage, Jahneration performs surrounded by their musicians, with instrumentals that sit between roots and digital, flows that intersect with melodic choruses, and a live-oriented dynamic. After several albums and hundreds of concerts in France and abroad, the band has honed a precise sound, balancing uptempo numbers with more relaxed moods. At Le Tetris, the duo will present a set drawing from all periods of their career, from early singles to tracks from their recent records, for an evening that highlights their reggae/hip‑hop fusion and the vocal chemistry that defines them.
