On 7 August 2026, Congo Natty takes over Fox & Firkin in London for a night rooted in the UK’s sound system culture and the early days of jungle. Born Michael West in North London, he’s been connecting reggae, dub, dancehall and breakbeats since the late ’80s, first as Rebel MC before pushing deeper into a more spiritual, bass-heavy jungle under the Congo Natty banner.
Expect a set built on rough-edged low end, fast breaks and reggae DNA, the kind of blend that links rave history to Jamaican tradition without forcing it. From landmark tracks like “Code Red” and “Junglist” to the long-running album run that includes Jungle Revolution and Ancestorz [Rootz of Jungle], his music keeps that same core idea: vocals, bass and rhythm locked together.
