Rizzle Kicks

Rizzle Kicks play Barrowland Ballroom in Glasgow on 21 November 2026. Formed in Brighton by Jordan Stephens and Harley Alexander-Sule, the duo shaped a sound at the crossroads of UK hip-hop, alternative rap, pop rap and UK garage, trading verses and sung hooks with an easy back-and-forth. They came up through AudioActive and the BRIT School, posted early demos and videos online, then signed to Island for Stereo Typical (2011), a debut that set their blend of rap and melody. Roaring 20s (2013) followed, widening the production with touches of soul and funk.

After a pause in the mid-2010s for individual projects, Rizzle Kicks returned in 2024 and recorded Competition Is for Losers (2025), their third album. On stage, they move between groove-led beats and garage-tinged rhythms, with call-and-response sections and chorus-led cuts, drawing from early singles through to the recent material. Their path has included UK and European tours and festival dates, with collaborations along the way with names like Norman Cook, Olly Murs and Ed Sheeran.
