Detroit MC, rapper and producer Black Milk returns to Arci Biko with his latest album Ceremonial and the classics from his catalogue.
Active as an MC and known for soul- and jazz-tinged productions, he has frequently worked with artists and collectives associated with J Dilla; he has also produced for Slum Village. His lyrics are often socially conscious.
He has collaborated with Sean Price, Pharoahe Monch, RZA, Pete Rock, Guilty Simpson, Elzhi, Phat Kat, Frank-N-Dank, Lloyd Banks, Canibus, Danny Brown, Black Thought, the White Stripes and Robert Glasper.
Before and after the concert, DJ set by Steve Dub (Soulsista, Radio Capital).
