Daniel Caesar « Son of Spergy Tour »

On 6 September 2026 Daniel Caesar will perform at the Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam. The Canadian R&B and soul singer-songwriter, born Ashton Simmonds in Oshawa, emerged from the Toronto scene in the mid-2010s with a sound that sits between contemporary R&B, soul, gospel and neo-soul. His songs revolve around layered harmonies, spare guitar and piano parts, and a voice that emphasizes nuance. After the EPs Praise Break (2014) and Pilgrim’s Paradise (2015) he released the albums Freudian (2017), Case Study 01 (2019) and Never Enough (2023), which chart his trajectory from intimate ballads to more atmospheric productions.

The Son of Spergy Tour brings that palette to the stage: melodies at the forefront, slowly pulsing grooves and a songwriter’s approach that puts the lyrics center stage.
